Welp, i finally finished this! took a few months on and off, too bad i don't keep track of hours... Anyway, each and every detail was hand painted - even the jewels were individually painted... Yes, i am very crazy. I figured i should do something complicated and intricate, and really get everything detailed.

Oh yeah, this is a self portrait, based on a photo of myself of course. everything in the painting has symbolic meaning.

Wow! Well I think this is one of your best works yet.
Very mysterious and almost surreal....I love your use of colour- it really gives off that dreamlike feel. I think those fossils on the rock really just top this piece off- what an unusual and intriguing touch! Also, your vivid green eyes provide wonderful contrast. And *sigh!* what a beautiful dress! The rendering of those glowing red stones is just amazing!
