Heh, took me a few months, but i finally finished a painting. Despite being able to use the handy little copy/paste tool a bit, all those patterns just about killed my hand. I tend to grip my pen much harder when i am painting tiny intricate lines. I love the results, but i am not sure they are worth the effort...
At first, I wasn't too keen on the colors (specifically the yellow-ish pillows?) but, the more I look at it, the more I'm able to appreciate how they compliment the color of her eyes, hair and bodice. While they're not colors that I would have chosen, I think they work really well here - despite my not being able to notice at a quick first glance. I'm really sorry if it sounds as though I'm being negative in any way. It's definitely not my intent.
yeah I am really diggin the wallpaper, adds so much to the picture.... this kinda reminds me of Lizzie Borden, that chick who killed her family with an axe way back in the day.;.... i think its the couch....
