Monarch Butterflies (Danaus plexippus) eat a steady diet of milkweed when they are caterpillars which makes them poisonous to predators.

So yeah, i have decided to do at least a few butterfly and moth fairies. I hate series, i tend to lose interest quickly. But i have always loved monarch butterflies and there are a few others that i am currently working on...so i guess that makes it a series. I had a really fun time with the colour scheme on this one. I was worried how i would make orange look good, i'm not a big fan of orange in general. But ~tlagrange has been helping me out with colour theory and i think i am improving somewhat (hopefully!).

Looks really good, you're improving quickly ^^
The only flaw I find is that her dress isn't as relistic as the face, where you did a wonderful job!
Wow! It's amazing! I like the use of colors like a secound light trough the wings. :+fav: :)

Now there's a beautiful character not to be tangled with. She looks considerably less fragile than the butterfly wings would suggest.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.
