eh, this is just a piece i did for a mother's day card. I plan on finishing off the background, maybe add some flying something-or-others. But i figured i would post this version now, since i am going on vacation on saturday and probably wont finish it before then. I will have internet, but no tablet!
I love the wings, they're so beautiful. The fireflies could glow a little more, they don't really look like fireflies otherwise. Other than that, it's a lovely card.
*cries* It's so puuurrrrrdyful!
I love blues and shades pertaining to blue, if you hadn't figured already! and this is just gorgeous! I'm really liking the wings texture, and the dress as well, the shades of colour are just amazing in both! (no, more than just, but you get what I mean.) One little thing - is the dress meant to loook as if the skin turns into the dress on her back? Because if not, I think a little more definition might be good - at the moment it looks like skin and dress meld into each other. (but that is being very picky.)
The look on her face is very suitable for a mothers day card - very childlike, daughterlike, young.
The texture you've used for the cliff is also really interesting and good - almost lie non polished marble or lapis lazuli. Yes, lapis, because of the colour.
Gorgeous work, no change there then!
Purdy! I love these simple pieces you do with color and light. They are so charming. I really like the lantern also... waiting to see how you finish it!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
