The knot was the hardest part of this piece. Yes, i used a bit of copy/paste with it, i would have carpal tunnel syndrome by now if i didn't. I basically drew out a large section of it. And since my hand was cramping up really badly, i decided to copy what i had done and paste it around in a circle. You can see a close up of the knot in my scraps (just follow the link below).
Another beautiful peice. The coloring is amazing well done, as always. The roses look as if they're from a photograph, very realistic-like; and they add to the over-all effect with the picture. The soft colors in her clothing and the backround really go well with her dark hair. A very nice color scheme. Great job.

I love the comment about it being an inner child because I really felt that too when I saw it. I'm absolutely in love with this piece. The knot work is lovely, so no worried there hun. She just looks so wistful and innoncent...but also left behind. Seriously, looking at it makes me want to tear up... Really love this one, I have a soft spot in my heart for children (inner or real ) Lovely work again, it's always a pleasure to see what you create.
Oops.. Im not sure whats wrong with me these days, I comment first on the details and got all confused. Such a sweet angel, the wings are great - I like how the feathers are so soft looking - it adds to the youthfulness of the piece. I would be copy and paste on something so detailed also like that knot... theres no need to ruin your hands! Plus we have to wait for more art while you render every section of the background. XD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
