Being a slow painter I decided it would be best to skip on to january's birthstone so that I could have each painting done by the beginning of the month it goes with. Hopefully I will be able to keep up now :aww: So here is Garnet! You can view the other finished paintings in the series here.

Very rich red.. I love bold colours like that, and the little details around the trimming of the dress are a very nice touch. Good choice on pose, too.
