The title means my beloved. I have been working on this one for months now... not being able to finish it. I had the characters done way before the background which i think is a weakness of mine. Better to do the background first.

Anyway, i really want to thank all the people who gave me advice on the wip of this in my scraps section! You were all very right, the trees were off in that one. I wasn't sure i could pull off a gothic building/ruins, so i went with this (referenced from a photo i took).

Anyway, this thing is *huge* - about 16x20 inches at 300dpi which means it can be blown up even larger. So do see the full view and the close up :) Let me know what you think.

amazing. the two beloved are gorgeous, i love their sweet pose and their nearly glowing pale skin. the outfits are designed wonderfully, as well. the background you decided on is perfect.

Gorgeous work... I adore the detail on their clothing and I especially like the gate. This reminds me of two characters from a story I wrote several years ago. There's so much feeling in this piece... well done!

This work is amazing. It holds so many feelings inside. It's perfect in all ways - emotional, technical, beauty. Nice choice of colours too. I'm in :heart: with this picture.

Simply delightful! I love what you did with the garden... very romantic... makes me think of something from the Old South, with the iron filigree and the ferny trees. Mmm... :D Prints! Prints! ;-)

The background it beautiful. They both look as though their thinking of something else other than each other, both lost in their own thoughts... very beautiful all in all.
